Do you want to learn how to bake scrumptious cakes from scratch? Have you ever wondered about oven temperature, unevenly baked cake layers, burnt tops and raw cake interiors? Our talented team of pastry chefs will demystify the art of baking scrumptious cakes and show you how to create delectable buttercream flavoured with the best natural ingredients. This class is for the adventurous home baker as well and a requirement for aspiring cake designers. Let them eat cake!

Students registered for DC1 please note; B1 may be taken at any time during the course as your fresh cake will not be required until the last day of class.

    • 10” serrated bread knife (or 8” at the smallest)

    • 8” offset and straight blade palette knives
    • Small 4.5” offset metal palette knife

Cancellation Policy: Full payment is required at the time of booking for all classes. If paying by cheque, it must be received two weeks prior to the start of the first class. Students are responsible for ensuring there are no scheduling conflicts when enrolling in two or more classes. If you do not attend the class you are registered for, your payment will be forfeited. 7 days notice is required for class cancellations upon which a credit note will be issued and may be applied to future classes within a 6 month period. We do not provide makeup classes for missed sessions. Should a class be cancelled a full refund will be offered.
